I need some help in picking the right modifications for the following impending conversion. We are going to be doing a NA to TT conversion this winter on my 1991 2+2 NA 5 sp. We will be using the engine from a 1991 TT Auto. car that currently has R-34 turbos on it. I am wanting to build this engine to have as good of throttle response as possible for a turbo car, and I would like a big fat flat torque curve out of the engine. I road race track this car and mid range instant acceleration is more important to me than ultimate HP numbers. Should I just stay with the R-34 turbos? Any other suggested modifications? Thanks in advance, Don in Denver.
